I just realized that I have been over here in London for almost a week and have not been blogging for my blog followers. Here is a little up date. It has been a little boring since I have been here. Just some of the same old stuff, meeting Donna for a beer after work, sleeping, taking a shower, walking Donna to work, etc.

Oh, yeah, I have gone to the store and bought some crackers and milk. I almost forgot that we have attended two plays, Thriller and Enjoy. Both were very good. Donna paid for the tickets which made them even better, but I did buy the ice cream at intermission. Did I mention that we went to a couple of markets? Yes we did. We went to Spittlefields and Petticoat Lane markets. Guess who got a new pair of shoes at the market? That’s right, Donna!

We arrived back at Donna’s place of lodging late last night after having pint of Londons Pride at The Hope public house. I almost forgot we stopped there after returning to London form Cardiff, Wales where we had spent a couple of days. What a great town. So quiet and lovely, but we were able to find something to do. Senic bus and water taxi rides and lovely walks throught the town. Oh, And what did we find.....Brains Brewery. We stopped and checked in at the gate house with John. What a lovely gent. He informed us that “Yes they used to give tours, but no more. And yes they used to have a tasting room, but no more. By the way we used to sell souviners, but no more.” Then he stepped into the back room and brought out a wonderful Brains Beer serving tray which he slipped into a bag and gave to us and then directed us to the Cottage Pub and suggested that we try a pint or two of S.A. Brains Ale. John said the locals say the S.A. stands for Skull Attack. After a few pints he said the next morning it feels like your skull has been bashed.

I had a half pint and a cup of coffee while Donna consumed four pints of S.A. and was asked to leave when she started singing O’ Danny Boy while sitting on the bar working on her fifth pint. That girl can be so much fun! That girl can really sang.....Yes that is sang!

I need to get out of the room now. I have done my duty of walking Donna to work and picked out a new pub to meet her at when she gets off work. I will have to remind her, one pint. I am concerned she may start singing and any one who knows her knows she can not sing, but she can sang.

The G-20 summit is being held in London and the city is expecting a lot of marches, protest and possible riots. I have never been in a riot so I had best be on my way. Just to let you know, Obama was recieved like a rock star!!

I really need to go so I can pick up some rocks ( which are hard to find) and a few nice firm dog turds (which are not hard ro find, especially when crawling home from the pub) for throwing during the riots and mayham.

Wish me luck!
